1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Recalibrate website and platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use the Service. Recalibrate is an informational gaming hub designed to help distributed teams and their leaders diagnose workplace disconnection and optimize cognitive recovery through structured microbreaks and game-based interventions.

2. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Service. Prohibited behavior includes:

• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or community members
• Posting, uploading, or transmitting content that is defamatory, obscene, or illegal
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the Service or its communities

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Recalibrate Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, game mechanics, strategy guides, lore documentation, and interactive elements, is the property of Recalibrate or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only, provided you retain all copyright and proprietary notices.

You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, perform, or publish any content from the Service without prior written permission from Recalibrate, except as permitted by law for fair use or as explicitly authorized by these Terms.

User-generated content (such as forum posts, comments, or strategy submissions) remains your intellectual property. By submitting content to Recalibrate, you grant Recalibrate a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute that content for the purposes of operating and improving the Service.

4. No Gambling or Wagering

Recalibrate is an informational gaming hub and does not offer gambling, betting, wagering, or any games of chance involving real money or monetary prizes. All games and activities on the Service are designed for educational, diagnostic, and recreational purposes only. No financial transactions, stakes, or real-money rewards are involved in any game or activity offered.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Recalibrate makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Recalibrate does not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful code
• The information, content, or recommendations provided will be accurate, complete, or current
• Any defects in the Service will be corrected
• The Service will meet your specific needs or expectations

The diagnostic tools, game recommendations, and microbreak science content are informational in nature. Results, improvements in team productivity, or changes in employee engagement are not guaranteed and will vary based on individual circumstances, organizational context, and implementation practices.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Recalibrate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunity, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if Recalibrate has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall Recalibrate's total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the amount you have paid to Recalibrate in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred Swedish kronor (100 SEK), whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in full.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Gothenburg, Västra Götaland, Sweden, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies or agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Recalibrate regarding the Service and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, and agreements, whether written or oral.
